Hi, I'm Steve Loveridge and the proud owner of Jago (Laxford Enesco) and Benson (Laxford Faron), Clumber Spaniels. My kennel name is Hamshore which is derived from an area of Poole Harbour near where I live.
Both dogs will be used in the field as beating/picking up dogs. Jago should be out in the field at the start of the season 2009/2010, whilst Benson, being a year younger, will hopefully be working the following season.
The purpose of this site is to record their progress and to promote the working Clumber Spaniel as opposed to the show type Clumber Spaniel. There is a significant difference between the working and show Clumbers with the show Clumbers being, on the whole, bigger, heavier dogs than the working strain Clumber.

As a photographer I attend many canine events so I will add some galleries of these events or links to events I have covered.
