Benson
Benson was born June 2008. Out of the same working parents (Sedgehurst Netherstowey & Flintwood Snowstorm). His Kennel Club name is Laxford Faron. I am hoping that he will have many of the same attributes and some of the character of Jago, although this cannot be relied upon.
I did not get Benson until he was nearly four months old so missed out on his very early puppy stage. He was however given a very good grounding by his breeder who socialised him well and instilled some very simple basics into him.
His training has not really started yet but he is showing a lot of enthusiasm for retrieving. His hunting is not as strong as Jago's was at he same age and he does seem to be a more laid back type of dog. Very little phases him and he is, at present, very steady and eager to be with me. His lead work is very good.
I will add more as we get into the training more seriously.
